We anticipate to continue our involvement with their projects in the foreseeable future.’
The seven projects range in size from 5MW to 18MW capacity, totalling 73MW, and are all run-of-river developments harnessing the high head potential of various rivers in The Rwenzori Mountains (western Uganda) and Mount Elgon (eastern Uganda).
Our services for the OE roles are to provide design reviews of the EPC Contractor’s designs, culminating in Scheme Freeze design meetings between all parties and supplemented by routine monitoring visits of staff to the sites during construction. The team comprises various hydropower disciplines residing within Power, Transport, Environment and Water from our Australia and New Zealand divisions.
