Mr Mikhail will lead the operations of the WA transport and infrastructure team – driving cost-effective, innovative solutions in the delivery of their portfolio of projects.
Mr Mikhail previously led the company’s bridges team in Perth, delivering a range of projects including tender designs for Perth Freight Link and NorthLink WA.
WSP Transport Client Director for WA Phil Nicholls said Shereen has a strong understanding of clients’ needs.
‘His experience overseas brings a new approach and innovation to the Australian market.
‘His strong operational experience will advance our business and improve project delivery,’ said Mr Nicholls.
Mr Mikhail, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, has 25 years’ experience delivering major roads, expressways, bridges and tunnels with a focus on Design & Construct and Early Contractor Involvement contracts.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2014, he spent 11 years in Dubai leading WSP’s team of 150 transport professionals there.
