WSP Technical Manager for Wind Engineering, Ben Inkster, will present during the generation and markets session. The session is focused on the intersection between optimising wind farm performance and project performance; the benefits of diversifying assets for spot market prices; dynamic models of generators and project value; and the challenges and opportunities in low wind areas.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Senior Wind Energy Engineer, Natalie Lukies is scheduled to speak in the operation and maintenance session discussing operational issues affecting energy capture, asset inspection by drone, and practical tips for making the most of wind farms.

WSP Power Section Executive in Victoria, Heidi Sick, believes that the forum presents both Ben and Natalie with the opportunity to demonstrate their technical expertise.
‘Through their presentations, Ben and Natalie will showcase their technical depth and capability and highlight how they can apply this knowledge to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients,’ said Ms Sick.
Ben has over ten years’ experience in private industry and consulting in areas such as aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, data analysis and renewable energy project delivery and management.
Natalie has worked as a technical consultant in the wind industry since 2008 across wind farm projects in Australia, China, India, Sri Lanka and South Africa and has provided expertise in wind resource assessment, site identification, wind turbine selection, operational assessments and technical documentation.
The Wind Industry Forum is Australia’s premier technical event for the wind industry. This year marks the Clean Energy Council’s third annual forum, drawing together wind industry specialists to share their knowledge and technical excellence.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is this year’s conference coffee sponsor.
