In this new role as Client Director, Western Sydney, Mr Dyer will cement our approach to servicing clients in Western Sydney, and set a course for expanding our footprint in the region.

His knowledge of the region forged through first-hand experience developing projects, coupled with his extensive business experience and commercial acumen, will allow us to really understand what our clients need and deliver that to them.
“As Sydney’s fastest growing region, Western Sydney will have more than 350,000 new residents moving into the area within the next decade. To support this, we are witnessing a massive investment in transport, essential infrastructure such as healthcare and education, and a broad range of amenities. WSP is involved in many of these projects, providing our clients with the support of a locally-dedicated team with international scale.

Mr Dyer, a former Australian test cricketer, was born in Parramatta. During his time at the helm of City of Parramatta Council he has steered the organisation through a period of transformational growth, investment and change. He has a proven track record of achievement and considerable experience that includes roles as Finance Director of the Mirvac Group, CFO of Mulpha Australia and of APN News & Media.
Prior to this, he held several executive-level positions in Australia, the US and Asia. With degrees in both economics and law from the University of Sydney, Mr Dyer qualified as a chartered accountant while working for KPMG’s Parramatta office.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Dyer says, “I am passionate about Parramatta and the Western Sydney region more broadly. This role provides me with the opportunity to put WSP at the nexus of the significant growth and development of that region and its diverse communities over the next decade.”
Mr Dyer starts with the firm on 22 January 2018 and will be based in our Parramatta office.
