This endorsement comes from the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global organisation that helps firms assess and develop great workplaces that deliver outstanding business performance. We join a small number of Fortune 500 companies that have achieved this certification, including Salesforce, Hilton, EY, Accenture, Hilton, and Mars, to name a few.
Validating our Guiding Principles, this certification demonstrates that our people trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.
“Great workplaces achieve organisational goals by inspiring, speaking and listening,” says Guy Templeton, President and CEO, Australia and New Zealand. “We have worked hard to provide an environment where our people can derive a sense of meaning from their work and feel good about working for WSP.
“It is very humbling to see our people giving their personal best and partnering with our clients to tackle the complex problems that shape the communities in which we work. Feedback from the survey demonstrates we are making inroads in diversity and inclusion. Most importantly, our staff engagement score continues to rise.”
Participation, Achievement & Teamwork
This year, 74% of our people responded and shared their anonymous feedback about WSP’s working environment and culture. Our employee engagement score has increased considerably since the survey in 2015, and was higher this year compared to 2017. Of note, our people feel good about the way we contribute to the community. In addition, they feel they can be themselves at work, and are treated fairly regardless of their gender, ethnicity, age or sexual orientation.
