Nicola Enslin, Associate Air Quality Consultant, has joined us in Brisbane. With more than 12 years of experience in air quality management and monitoring, Nicola brings specialist skills to our business in the areas of baseline assessments, air quality impact assessments, air quality management plans, atmospheric emission licence applications and ambient air quality monitoring.
Jason Watson, National Team Manager for Air Quality says, “Nicola is no stranger to our business. For the past 18 months, she has been undertaking work for us from our Johannesburg office in South Africa. In October last year, she relocated to Australia with her family, and we are delighted to have her here.
“Nicola’s expertise in dispersion modelling is key to helping us grow our business. Air quality plays an increasingly important role in our daily lives and her skills will allow us to strengthen capabilities and maximise opportunities in the market.
“This is a great example of the power of the WSP global network.”
Since landing in Australia, Nicola has worked on a range of projects including the Melbourne Metro, where she undertook dispersion modelling for the construction-related surface works. More recently, she has begun working on managing odour control for wastewater treatment plants.
She adds, “Moving to Australia has given me the opportunity to broaden both my professional and personal horizons. On the work front, I’ve been settling into the Brisbane office, familiarising myself with my new colleagues, our breadth of work and getting to know our clients and their needs. In terms of lifestyle, we’re all adjusting to the relaxed culture.”
With the addition of Nicola in Queensland, the Air Quality team now has a presence in key markets along the eastern seaboard of Australia, with Jason Watson overseeing the National team and NSW/ACT markets and John Conway in Victoria.
