This year WSP has also had a number of young professionals who have received recognition at AusRail. Elodie O’Sullivan and Devin Devendra, Rail Engineers, joined the pitching competition where they spoke about addressing the workforce gap and adapting to service disruptions. The competition is an opportunity for participants to unearth new ideas and shape future careers in rail.
Thomas Grohovaz, Neha Babu, James Peters and Eric Huang, WSP Graduate Engineers, have all been named recipients of the AusRAIL Scholarship. This is a fantastic opportunity for our four recipients, supporting their career development through sharing their winning ideas throughout the AusRAIL conference.
Sam McWilliam, National Executive of Rail says, “It is fantastic to see such a diverse pool of young rail professionals being involved in this conference with a range of ideas, innovations and roles. Each of our speakers, scholarship recipients and pitching competitors have a broad range of knowledge, showcasing technical excellence.
“I am looking forward to joining the panel discussion on the rail supply chain and sharing my own views as well as hearing others thoughts on Australia’s chain network.”
