Kate says, “It’s a joy to be part of an inclusive work place and working to create an inclusive society, one where it’s safe to be who you are, as you are and overcome marginalisation. I support Wear It Purple because I know the type of adversity a young LGBTQ+ person can face, it’s time to be the change.”
Founded in 2010, WIP strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ young people. It’s about creating safe spaces in schools, universities, workplaces and public spaces to show LGBTIQ+ young people that they are seen and supported.
Since the creation of VIBE in 2019, WSP staff have collectively raised over $1000 to support of WIP.
