Australia’s first proposed offshore wind farm is getting closer to being realised

The Parklands project provided a purpose-built development to be used initially for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, with a long-term vision as a place for the Gold Coast community to live, work and play.

Windpeshi is a clean energy generation project taking place in indigenous communities' territories in La Guajira Peninsula, northern Colombia.  The project entails the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a wind farm with approximately 200 MW of installed capacity through the installation of a maximum of 45 wind generators, a booster substation inside the wind farm, a 59.1 km long 220 kV transmission line and other supplementary works.

Iluka Resources has officially opened its mineral sands mine at Cataby in Western Australia which produces 370ktpa of chloride ilmenite, 50ktpa premium grade zircon, and 30ktpa rutile.
