Why have you decided to work at WSP?
I started at WSP right after finishing my Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering. At first, my interest in renewable energy attracted me to WSP. The opportunity to work in my home region was also important to me.
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
I appreciate the opportunity to work on diverse projects and being able to rely on the expertise of WSP employees from around the globe to deliver multidisciplinary and complex projects. Another motivating aspect of my work is the recognition we get from satisfied clients.
What does Future ready means to you?
During the development phase, we must think long-term and propose solutions which will be optimal through the entire project life cycle.
Describe a project you are proud of having worked on.
In 2011, we did the engineering for the rebuild of a lock gate’s bearing system. It was the first time the client did major work on this system and we had to develop new and innovative methods to deliver the work.
Why are you eager to work on projects with one of the most important players in the aluminum industry in Québec?
In the last 14 years, I have mainly worked with an important client in the aluminum field. The new partnership will give us the opportunity to work on several exciting and diverse projects.
