Operations and Logistics for Venues
Today, we are seeing unprecedented population densities as our big cities grow even bigger. As urbanization intensifies, managing transportation, accessibility, safety and public spaces becomes increasingly complex. And nowhere is this more dramatic than during big public events.
Large sporting events and concerts can see 20,000 people in attendance; large festivals can see upwards of a million.
Managing the sheer volume of traffic requires intensely detailed event planning and logistics. How can we best manage road, transit and foot traffic? How will we minimize traffic jams and provide enough parking? How will we make sure these events are accessible to everyone? And the most pressing concern of all: how will we keep everyone safe when public venues become a target?
