Community-Centered Airport Link Development for Heathrow Southern Rail Access
Julianna Moats, Principal Engineer with WSP, will present on Tuesday, March 20 at 16:15. The presentation will focus on the challenges of harmonizing the priorities and timelines of numerous local and national stakeholders in the rail link project between Heathrow Airport and London Waterloo Station.
Low-Carbon Heating, Ventilation and Cooling Solutions for Airports
Andrew Marsh-Patrick, WSP Associate Director of Sustainability and Energy, will co-present with Liverpool Airport’s Head of Environment Andrew Dutton, on Wednesday, March 21 at 16:15. This presentation will cover the carbon, air quality and cost savings from low-carbon heating and cooling solutions for airports, based on recent research and best practice examples. This is an important area for airport operators wishing to achieve carbon neutrality in a cost-effective manner.
Panel Discussion: Mega-Project, Mini-Site – The US$2.4bn SFO Terminal 1
Tina Millàn, WSP Senior Vice President and National Director of Aviation Services, will be part of the panel on Thursday, March 22 at 9:05. This multi-year, multi-phased project will deliver a state-of-the-art, 25-gate terminal and boarding area, with a sterile connector to the FIS allowing additional flexibility to process international passengers.
