Risk Assessment of Mining-Related Contamination of the Kuskokwim River, Red Devil Mine, Alaska

This presentation is on a human health and ecological risk assessment completed to address heavy metals contamination from an abandoned mine on a river in Alaska. We give an overview of our innovative approach using multiple lines of evidence to support the development of targeted cost-effective alternatives to remediate the mine.
