This webinar will provide an insight into creating a step change in achieving objectives - through the ability to articulate and plan the path to achieve desired outcomes in advance – thereby enabling their achievement ‘by design’. The importance of effective and confident leadership decisions will be highlighted together with examples where significant cultural change and practice has been achieved through the use and deployment of innovative ITS solutions on the highway network.
This framework, in which leading indicators are given focus at the earliest stage of the design process, gives confidence that:
- Requirements are traceable, have been validated (are we building the right thing?) and are verified to have been met (are we building it right?)
- Control processes are in place for delivery of the project
- Those delivering the project are competent
