Please join us in this webinar to learn about what operations simulations are and how they can be applied to capture the system behavior, interactivity and stochasticity in the real world and represent them in an accurate computerized environment.
With the right data and approach, simulations can be used to prepare our clients for possible outcomes of various scenarios, visualize root causes, investigate improvements. Through this process, optimization and operational resiliency can be achieved without investing in expensive infrastructure upfront, mitigate the risk of potential unknown consequences, and save tax payer’s dollars.
We will explore an example of using the railway operations simulation for Toronto’s GO Rail Expansion – On-Corridor Project from the initial proposal stage to the design stage through a continuous iterative design process, and how the results of the simulation are being implemented in the project delivery.
