This webinar considers the available options for decarbonising transport and looks at both cost and efficiency of pure electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The discussion also includes the Lazard least cost of generation of hydrogen and comments on the assumptions and “fine print” as they pertain to costing, sensitivity and the required scale.
The presentation will provide a range of future forecast cost figures in US$ for hydrogen generation as well as the New Zealand experience along the path. The challenges on scale are discussed and the implications for funding noted.
