When we build new buildings and tear down existing buildings we use a large fraction of the global resources, and at the same time we produce a lot of waste and CO₂-emissions.
In Denmark, these activities generate approximately 40% of the national amount of waste, use 40% of resources and emit 20% of our CO₂-emission. To lower the figures, WSP is working on reusing of construction and demolition waste as part of a circular supply chain.
This webinar will give an overview of how we target the work in Denmark on a general basis. We will explore case studies and illustrate how we undertake the construction- or demolition-process to secure as much reuse as possible and will also present specific examples of reused materials.
