This webinar is for hydrologists, engineers, architects and planners that works in the field of climate adaptation.
SUMBA is WSP's newly developed box model, which routes measured historical precipitation through one or more basins. The software is extremely fast, uses a 1-minute time-step and simulates 40 years of data in fewer than 100 seconds. The software has been applied in over 100 projects in Denmark so far in projects ranging from dimensioning of storm water retention ponds, SUSCOD, regulation of discharge to rivers and streams, scenarios of storm water handling principles in urban surroundings, water balances of lakes and much more. Currently we are working on implementing first order degradation of nutrients and suspended sediment in order to use the software for BAT technologies in rainwater purification ponds.
During the webinar we will present an introduction to the software and a selection of case studies.
