Groundbreaking Ceremony for Sogo Development in Hong Kong

On 29 December 2017, WSP joined Mr. Thomas Lau, the Chairman of Lifestyle International Holdings Limited – operator of Sogo department store for the groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction for the commercial development at Kai Tak Lot No. NKIL 6557.

With a site area of approximately 14,159 sq.m, the Kai Tak Lot No. NKIL 6557 will be developed into two iconic towers to provide a new SOGO Department store along with other commercial, entertainment and dining facilities, with a total gross floor area of approximately 101,000 sq.m. The project is expected to be completed before 2022.

WSP is serving as the Structural, MEP, BIM, and Green Consultant for this landmark commercial project.
