Upon completion, the offshore wind farm will supply green power to about one million Taiwanese households.
The projects will be led by WSP’s local team in Taiwan, with support from the firm’s U.S.-based offshore wind experts.
WSP has a global team of experts with a range of specific offshore wind experience, based primarily in the UK and growing rapidly in the US. The firm has a strong track record in the offshore wind market, including in Europe where the firm has worked on over 30 projects totaling about 23 gigawatts (GW) of capacity, and in the USA on Vineyard Wind, the first utility-scale offshore wind farm in the U.S. and the largest offshore wind development in the country.

The offshore construction of the projects will commence in 2021.
