Over the course of 19 years, WSP Korea has grown from a small team of a handful staff to an operation of over 150 employees, and the third largest WSP operation in the region today. Ivy opened her speech with warm greetings in Korean, and immediately captured everyone’s attention, “WSP Korea has completed numerous remarkable projects, including the world’s fifth tallest building[1], Lotte World Tower. I constantly tell my team that WSP is a people-centric company and none of the projects we deliver would have been possible the hard work and the dedication of our talented people and we definitely have a lot of them in Korea and beyond that challenge the status quo and transform concepts into reality.”
Other WSP projects in Korea included Haeundae L-City in Busan, the Top 100 Tallest Completed Buildings, ranked #32[2]; Hotel ANDAZ, one of Korea’s top-level hotels; Medici Project, a Gangnam landmark that is scheduled for completion in Q3 2020 and Nine One Hannam, one of the most luxurious condominium complex in Korea that will soon be completed.
Bruce also expressed his gratitude to his team with a toast, “Together, we will make WSP the top leading consultant in Korea and become the partner of choice for our clients.”
