At the Construction Industry Volunteer Award Presentation Ceremony 2020 held by CIC’s Construction Industry Sports & Volunteering Programme (CISVP) on 15 November, WSP was awarded a special recognition for our participation in the CISVP. Peggy Ng from the Hong Kong Volunteer Team also received her Excellence in Construction Industry Volunteering Merit Award for her dedication as an industry player to spread love and care to those in need.

WSP has been actively involved in various kinds of social initiatives and our staff has dedicated their time and skills to assist those underprivileged, driven by our Corporate Volunteering Team established in 2010 and our extensive collaboration with local NGOs. For example, we have been teaming up with young adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in the dragon boat race for eight years. We have also engaged in other meaningful activities targeting low income, ethnic minorities and hearing-impaired primary students as well as singleton elderly.

Last year, WSP was presented with the “Construction Industry Caring Organisation Logo” by the CISVP, a testament to our commitment to the community and charitable initiatives as part of the local construction industry. The Corporation also received the ‘10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’ by The Hong Kong Council of Social Services earlier this year.
