Themed ‘Survival by design: from Darwinism to…’, this eighth edition of the fair called on designers to examine the unique value of design from a new perspective and trigger design transformation through dialogues, cooperation and innovation.
As engineers and designers of our built environment, WSP was invited to share our smart future vision with a focus on smart mobility and smart building in the expo.
In his keynote speech, Alex inspired the audience on how these two areas will enable our future smart city development with his insight on the challenges, core framework and latest technologies to be involved in this transformation, from vehicle-to-everything (V2X) to self-learning building management system. He also presented how WSP leverages local and global expertise to realise the smart future for various sectors.
The three-day exhibition has brought together over 300 innovative firms from home and abroad to explore design opportunities in Shenzhen and beyond.
