Together with Mirage Leisure & Development, we are proud to announce the achievement of 23 million working hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) at the Address Residences Jumeirah Resort project in Dubai.
This milestone has been reached through the hard work and combined commitment between WSP in the Middle East, Mirage Leisure & Development, Multiplex, Ramboll Group, and Killa Architectural Design. The outstanding achievement is even more impressive given the engineering complexities of the project, which included hoisting a 650-tonne skybridge to the top of the 77-storey structure.
Tom Hoban, WSP in the Middle East’s Project Director, said that achieving a milestone like this requires a remarkable collective Health & Safety effort.
“With strong support from higher management, along with a robust focus on leadership, teamwork, cohesive risk assessment, and clearly defined communications, WSP Middle East managed to influence and embed the robust Health & Safety culture required to maximize site safety.
“Address Residences Jumeirah Resort’s tower is a distinctive addition to Dubai’s incredible skyline and we are proud to be making a significant contribution to the city’s Health & Safety landscape as a leader in the construction and engineering realm,” Tom added.
WSP in the Middle East is the lead consultant, Architect of Record, Structural Engineer, Security Consultant, and Fire & Life Safety consultant for this project. The project was designed by Killa Architectural Design, Ramboll Group is the MEP Engineer, and Multiplex is the Contractor.
