Tracy Choi (Senior Associate, Structural, China Region) represented WSP at the award presentation ceremony held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25 November 2017. The prestigious event serves as a platform for experience sharing to promote and sustain quality public housing in the city. It also recognises the contributions of the project team including architects, engineers, contractors and maintenance professionals involved in public housing development projects in Hong Kong.   

“WSP worked closely with the Housing Authority and other project consultants to deliver a fully integrated state-of-the-art public transport facility.” says Henry Wong (Director, Structural, China Region). 

The PTI features three bus lanes and is designed with a light-weight structure instead of using the more conventional reinforced concrete design. A skylight opening with transparent panels allows sunlight to enter into the PTI, which doubles as a noise barrier to minimise disturbance to local residents.
