The Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) Design Excellence Awards were announced at its 47th Gala Dinner. The awards accord recognition to projects in Singapore which have been judged to have demonstrated engineering design excellence.

Completed in 2015, the “MEDIACORP” project has a total GFA of 79,500 sq.m, is a 12-storey building with 3 basements comprising of a theatre, studios, retail outlets and other media facilities at One-North.

The M&E systems, with full redundancy, were designed to meet TIA-942 to ensure no single point of failure for the continuity of media operation. Full BIM was adopted for the design, tender, construction and facility management stages after project completion. WSP served as the mechanical and electrical engineering consultant and provided Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) specialists for this project.
