Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Tallest Building in Suzhou, China

The groundbreaking ceremony for Suzhou Zhongnan Centre, the tallest building in Suzhou, China was held at the end of June 2020.

WSP is proud to provide MEP and vertical transportation system consultancy services for this landmark project. 

Conveniently located at Suzhou Industrial Park in Jinji Lake CBD, this 499.15m-high Suzhou Zhongnan Centre project consists of sightseeing facilities, offices, hotels, apartments and exhibition halls with a GFA of approximately 508,000 sq.m. The skyscraper will be completed in 2026.

Developed by Zhongnan Group and designed by Gensler, the tower boasts a column-shaped structure and a design incorporating traditional Suzhou cultural elements, e.g. its top looks like an osmanthus flower, the floral emblem of Suzhou.
