Organised by ACES, this award celebrates and recognises young engineers across Singapore for their creative and engineering abilities, and their substantial and sustained contributions to the engineering community and profession.
A total 10 of young engineers from various engineering consultancies and firms were conferred the award this year. WSP was one of three consultancies to have two winners for this award.

Shurong was recognised for her passion to nurture young engineers and her commitment to engineering excellence. She has worked on numerous infrastructure projects like the new Xilin Station and train tunnels, part of the Downtown Line 3 extension. An advocate for improving organisational capabilities to enhance engineering outcomes, she collaborated with team leaders and the IT team internally to recommended digital solutions to plug gaps.

With a strong interest in building services design, Eugene has not only demonstrated strong technical capabilities and leadership, but also a flair for innovation and creativity in solving complex engineering problems. He was one of the key drivers in the successful completion and delivery of several commercial projects including the new Funan Mall and 9 Penang Road (formerly Park Mall).
