How collaborative working helped transform an industrial building in Royal Leamington Spa into one of the world’s largest coronavirus diagnostic testing facilities in record time.

WSP worked with Ashby Capital and Janson Urban to reuse and grow the existing structure which created larger more effective retail and office spaces while reducing carbon emissions from construction. 

This project is part of a massive CNY100 billion (CAD19.8 billion) global investment by the Alibaba Group to develop its global logistics network, the Cingleot Premium Logistics Centre will be one of the largest and most technically advanced facilities of its kind in the region. 

During a storm event, the First Street Tunnel will store up to 30.3 million liters of combined sewer overflow in its 853 meters of tunnel and 4 shafts, preventing flooding in Bloomingdale and Le Droit Park.
