Svanholm building

Svanholm, DENMARK

In Denmark changing weather patterns are leading to more violent storms. Our Centre for Building Preservation in Denmark is leading the restoration of the roof and stabilizing walls at Svanholm, a listed former manor house, to ensure that it can withstand increasing wind pressures during its 100-year lifespan. All elements, including tiles, beams, chimneys and guttering, will be restored using only traditional materials.
