Dr. Xiong is Deputy Chairman of the Soil and Groundwater Environment Committee of China Society of Environmental Science and has been one of the pioneer experts in China to focus on soil pollution and promotion of land remediation service. At the conference, his presentation addressed the updating of Land Remediation Laws and Regulations in China, particularly under the current implementation of “Environment Storm” and its impacts on Multi-national Corporations’ EHS management, and responsive actions.  His familiarity and knowledge of land remediation and knowledge of ongoing regulation development in China was well received by the conference attendees
