WSP served as the BEAM consultant to achieve 54% reduction in annual water usage, 51% reduction in effluent discharge, 45% reduction in annual energy usage in the carpark, and 30% reduction in peak electricity demand in the office. The project scored an overall rating of 81.9, well above the threshold Platinum rating of 75. BEAM Plus assesses the sustainability of a building throughout its lifecycle from design and construction to operation and maintenance.

Aside from BEAM Plus, WSP also provided LEED sustainability consulting services for the project, which also earned U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Platinum Pre-certification.

Opened in October 2016, the Goldin Financial Global Centre serves as the Headquarters for the Goldin Group. Designed by renowned architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, the office tower provides a 180-degree view of Victoria Harbour and state of the art facilities for its tenants. The Grade-A office development, situated in the heart of Hong Kong’s Kowloon East district, has a GFA of 79,200 sq.m, 27 floors, and a 3-floor underground carpark.
