At WSP, we uphold the highest standards of corporate social responsibility. We have been actively involved in various kinds of voluntary services, our volunteers dedicate their time and skills to assist those who are underprivileged. We believe through interaction with people of different age, background and experience levels help us understand better of what it takes to create a better world to live. We begin by strengthening and supporting our local communities, after all, what we do in WSP are about people!
Ms Ivy Kong, Managing Director, Asia, remarked, “We are honoured to receive this distinction from CISVP, it allows us to extend our reach and help more individual in needs through its platform. As a key player in the construction industry, we are accountable for improving our environment by means of sustainable development and society advancement, and that requires a collective efforts and participation from all of us in WSP, as well as our stakeholders and peers. I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage our staff members to join our volunteer team. Every little step counts to make a big change, together, let’s make some positive impacts to our society and be Future Ready!"
About WSP’s CSR Programme
For the ninth year in a row, WSP Hong Kong has been presented with the “Caring Company Logo” by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Its Hong Kong Volunteer Team also received a Gold Award from the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department for an aggregation of 1,209 service hours in 2018. Founded in May 2010, WSP Hong Kong’s volunteering team currently has 100 active members who drive and support in various volunteering initiatives.
