WSP Wins the Excelsior Hotel Redevelopment Project in Hong Kong

Located in a prime waterfront location in the heart of Hong Kong’s commercial district of Causeway Bay, the iconic Excelsior Hotel has stood as a proud landmark for the past 46 years.

 

Popular with tourists and locals alike, the 869-room hotel will close on 31 March 2019 to begin its transformation to a commercial mixed use development.

With an estimated cost of US$650 million, the redevelopment is expected to last six years.

WSP was appointed as the MEP Consultant Engineer, Vertical Transportation Consultant and Fire Engineering Consultant.
