WSP among founding signatories of Architects and Structural Engineers Declare Singapore

WSP is among 12 leading architecture and engineering firms in Singapore who have pledged their commitment to respond with action to collectively raise awareness of the urgent need for action among clients and partners, to embrace sustainable practices, whether in the workplace or in the built environment.

First launched in the UK, of which WSP is also a signatory, Architects and Structural Engineers Declare seeks to advocate for quicker transformation in the built environment industry. Through regenerative design and engineering practices, the industry can set new standards to drive and deliver socially responsible and sustainable projects. 

With the establishment of the Singapore Construction Declares, this marks the first Asian participation in this global movement. Raymond Lo, Managing Director for WSP in Singapore believes that an attitude and mindset towards innovation is an integral part of environmental sustainability. 

“Signing this declaration is a further step to support our firm’s ongoing pledge towards sustainability. Complementary to our Future Ready initiatives, the Declaration pushes us to have important conversations with our partners and provide innovative solutions to our clients,” said Raymond.
