Our projects receiving awards were:
Property Development at Wong Chuk Hang Station Package Two - A 493,000 sq.ft residential project located at the southwestern part of the Wong Chuk Hang Station. WSP used BIM 360 cloud platform for project collaboration and “Virtual Spartial Mock-Up (VSMU)’ to visualize various stages of work in a virtual environment allowing for speedy design changes and greater efficiency and cost effectiveness. WSP is serving as BIM Manager.
Sustainable BIM FM Platform for Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Project MK01 - Opened at the end of 2019, this is URA’s first project to use BIM as a tool in enhancing design coordination, clash prevention in construction, quality and operational efficiency. The project comprises of Grade 2 pre-World War II verandah-type shop houses in Mong Kok, with a mix of residential and commercial purposes. Autodesk Forge was used as the core technology with integration of Maximo to establish the centralized BIM-FM platform. WSP served as the BIM Consultant for main contractor.
A Honourable Mention was received for the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) Headquarters Customer Services Centre - Completed in 2018, this was a renovation project to prove the EMSD BIM-AM standards and guidelines are practical. BIM technology was used throughout the entire renovation, starting from the design stage to as-built stages. RFID and IoT systems were established to link BIM to reality. WSP served as the BIM Consultant.
