Przystanek mBank: a modern office building in the center of Łódź

Przystanek mBank is an A+ class office building with six over ground and one underground storey. The building is located in the Łódź city center and it is one of the most modern office facilities in the city. Its usable area is 33,500 m² and the underground parking have space for 185 cars and 100 bikes. The building obtained BREEAM certificate with "Excellent" rating. It features a restaurant, café, fitness centre and kindergarten. A part of the complex is a historic building with area of 1,100 m². The entire complex w rented by mBank for 12 years. WSP worked with AHR Architects to provide full scope of mechanical and electrical services design as well as fit outs for the client.

Technical solutions applied in Przystanek mBank

Featured technical solutions applied by WSP in the building include:

energy modeling performed on the conceptual stage that permitted the engineers to optimise the façade and the glazing,
optimisation of the choice of ventilation control devices done after the analysis of diverse heat exchangers,
the efficiency of the choice of chillers (finally, there were two chillers used instead of three planned in the conceptual design),
high level of energy efficiency achieved thanks to the use of energy modeling on the design stage.
