Research infrastructure that facilitates access to education and boosts innovation in the region
The new campus of the University of Białystok is designed as modern education centre for Faculties of Physics, Biology and Mathematics and Informatics with University Computation Centre. The development forms part of an extensive investment, with the total area of more than 30 ha, aiming at creating research infrastructure to facilitate access to education and boost innovation in the region. In all constructed buildings are around 840 rooms (lecture halls, offices, laboratories etc.), on three to four storeys. There are seven auditoriums, with the biggest for 260 people.
Applied solutions
The buildings are designed with modern HVAC installation, which is controlled with BMS system and allows for individual temperature control in the lecture rooms. The HVAC equipment is located on the roof and ground floor and buildings are equipped with floor heating. We have provided full scope of mechanical engineering design solutions (including firefighting) on all stages of the investment process.
