Underwater Infrastructure Work Prepares NYC Harbor for Megaships

Post-Panamax megaships can now navigate between Brooklyn and Staten Island to deliver cargo to the Port of New York and New Jersey thanks to infrastructure work recently completed below the water.

Large Post-Panamax ships can make their way to the Port of New York and New Jersey, thanks to the dredging of the Anchorage Channel and the relocation of water mains between Brooklyn and Staten Island.
