Nishitha Sajath is a Principal Engineer who joined the Building Services team in August 2007. Originally from Kerala in South India, she moved to the UAE soon after her wedding to be with her husband. She said, “I am happy I made the right decision – not only did it make me closer to my family, but it also opened a lot of opportunities for me.” She currently works both on site and at the design office and supervises the teams to deliver high quality projects.
As the first female engineer in her family, Nishitha is very proud to have worked on a number of iconic projects in the UAE.
Nishitha has always been interested in how things are built and designed. She enjoys studying market trends and the latest technology, and sharing it with her team. She is passionate about bringing innovative ideas to her work, and developing fresh and creative approaches to every situation. She said, “We have to view each day and each task as a challenge and an opportunity to improve. I see to it that I share unique insights in every project I work on.”
Exploring new things and places keeps Nishitha busy when she’s not at work. She loves spending time with her family, especially with getting involved in her daughter’s activities. She also enjoys travelling with her husband and attending social events.
