WSP Indigo is leading the pre-application engagement exercise and production of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and planning application. An EIA Scoping Report has been submitted and detailed pre-application discussions are underway. WSP’s multidisciplinary expertise is leading the technical delivery of the EIA.
Since the scoping report was submitted in June 2019, our focus has been on transport planning. The challenge: How can we deliver Eden Project North’s objective to be an exemplar for progressive and healthy transport methods in the UK whilst also getting 950,000 visitors to its site every year?
As Eden Project North progresses through the planning process, our WSP Indigo team and multidisciplinary specialists from our Manchester office will continue to support this once-in-a-generation opportunity for Morecambe.
