Tampere one step ahead - the program for walking and urban life creates guidelines for the overall promotion of walking in the city of Tampere.

We prepared a report for Sipoo municipality on the emissions and carbon sinks of the community structure, as part of the general plan’s climate impact assessment. Based on the survey, a carbon balance calculation was carried out, which can also be used as a tool moving forward.

In a development project financed with the support of the Ministry of the Environment in Finland, WSP prepared a greenhouse gas emission calculation for Tuusula. Together with the municipality's experts, WSP worked on a climate program that meets the obligations of the revised Climate Act.

WSP prepared an emissions scenario for the city of Helsinki to support climate management. The calculation model produces an overall estimate of the different emission measurement categories and enables region-based comparisons.

The Kalasatama-to-Pasila project’s hallmark is excellence in community planning. Our experts are involved in designing the tramline extending from Nihti through Kalasatama Centre to Pasila, as well as numerous streets and green areas associated with the project. 

Successful and early delivery of Manchester Metrolink extensions and service enhancements triple the size of the original network.

 WSP is contributing in the design of Line 7 of the Santiago Metro, both in its engineering and its socio-environmental planning, contributing the company's international experience in these types of initiatives.

As prime, WSP led the team providing aviation planning, financial and business planning services to prepare a new master plan.
