Send a Message / Embracing a diverse and inclusive culture
Over the last year, we have made significant effort to better our diversity and inclusion as a whole by taking a step back and looking at how we can improve under-represented groups to ultimately improve the culture and experience of our business and our people.
Dean McGrail
Managing Director of Property & Buildings and Gender Balance Leadership Sponsor
We are a diverse people business that is proud to be working for a wide variety of clients. We are committed to building an inclusive culture that gathers, respects and maximises the feedback of all our people, peers, and industry experts to ensure we remain at the forefront of gender balance, diversity and inclusion.
Our intent is to:
Ensure fair and equal treatment of all employees;
Embed a supportive culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the Middle East;
Provide all employees with inclusive opportunities to fulfill their potential;
Respect and promote human rights of employees and contractors.
Since our first Gender Balance Report was released in 2018, we have taken several actions in the Middle East to support progress in gender balance. On our journey, we came across opportunities to focus on diversity and inclusion more widely. Our 2019 report highlights how far we have come as a business, where we are and where we are going.

From a work perspective, I’m passionate about improving what we do and motivating our people & teams. I’m likewise passionate about teamwork and making complex things simple. On a personal level, I’m most passionate about my work-life balance, especially now that I have a family and three young daughters.
I’ve learned that each person has something unique and valuable to share and contribute to a healthy workplace – a smile, a good-morning, a snack, an idea, a life story, a compliment, advice, expertise, or time. I’ve also learned that everyone is an expert in something, and deserve appreciation regardless of where they sit in the business, or what their elevator pitch is.
