WSP in Sweden has its origins in technical consulting firm Jacobson & Widmark (J&W), which was founded in 1938. In 2001, J&W was acquired by UK company WSP and since then we have been part of the WSP Group, which is now based in Canada. The Group’s headquarters are in Montreal and the company is listed on the Toronto stock exchange. The Swedish head office is situated at the Globe Arena in Stockholm. In 2017, WSP in Sweden had a turnover of SEK 4,572 million. The letters WSP are an abbreviation of Williams Sale Partnership, which was the name of the company when it was founded.
