The talk will give an introduction to different thermal technologies used for removing volatile and semivolatile compounds primarily in-situ in different geologic settings based on Danish experiences over the last two decades. Examples of removal efficiency, energy comsumption, thermal strategy vs. geology/hydrogeology will be presented. The webinar will cover examples of obstacles and how to overcome them in projects.
