WSP worked on the feasibility study, detailed design and environment-impact assessment for a double-track railway system in Thailand. The track, running almost 325 kilometres from Surat-Hat Yai junction to Songkhla involved the meter-gauge long-distance train.
Our team was responsible for part of the railway operation assessment, signalling and telecommunications systems, rolling stock and track works.
The 12-month project was recognized as another strong example of our team’s capacities in transport and infrastructure works in the country.
