How collaborative working helped transform an industrial building in Royal Leamington Spa into one of the world’s largest coronavirus diagnostic testing facilities in record time.

WSP assists a pharma company expand its range of products, providing all the engineering services needed to support the launch of its new solid dosage form for North American and European markets.

Located in Canada’s Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty. Founded more than a century ago as a home away from home for mountain enthusiasts, the 487-room luxury resort looks out on glorious peaks, the Victoria Glacier and Lake Louise itself. It offers outdoor activities all year round, including skiing, hiking and canoeing.

Part of the fabric of British Columbia, Vancouver’s 55,000-seat BC Place Stadium hosts hundreds of events each year, including sports, concerts, trade shows and conventions. The stadium opened in 1983 as Canada’s first domed stadium, covered by the world’s largest air-supported dome roof.

WSP worked with Ashby Capital and Janson Urban to reuse and grow the existing structure which created larger more effective retail and office spaces while reducing carbon emissions from construction. 

This project is part of a massive CNY100 billion (CAD19.8 billion) global investment by the Alibaba Group to develop its global logistics network, the Cingleot Premium Logistics Centre will be one of the largest and most technically advanced facilities of its kind in the region. 

The Gippsland Water Factory is a wastewater treatment and recycling plant that processes 35 million litres of residential and industrial wastewater each day.

WSP is behind the first-of-its-kind facility in Hong Kong using reverse osmosis technology to provide the city with an alternative strategic water resource.

WSP were involved in the early design of the documentation of the Greenland Tower up to 2015 which entailed rigorous regulatory requirements and heritage challenges for Sydney’s tallest residential tower.

We have played a key role in transforming an under-utilised part of Melbourne’s central business district, to create a vibrant urban community with the iconic dual tower, known as Collins Arch.

In a first for Melbourne, WSP applied innovative structural engineering techniques to grow this inner city building in Melbourne to one of the tallest timber building extensions in the world. By using the latest in timber construction technology, WSP designed to use cross laminated timber (CLT) to transform the existing six-storey building by adding a 10-storey hotel.

Soon to be New England’s tallest residential building and the third tallest in Boston, One Dalton is a 61-story tower providing approximately 422,500 square feet of residential space and 290,000 square feet of five-star hotel space for the Four Seasons.
