WSP has more global rail program management experience and has delivered more operating passenger rail programs with Federal Transit Authority (FTA) funding and urban tunnel segments than any other firm.
As an example, in recognition of federal funding constraints, we applied innovations to deliver one of California’s first public-private-partnerships (P3), the Presidio Parkway. We’ve maintained the momentum by delivering Maryland’s Purple Line, the second transit P3 in the country, built directly on our lessons learned from the Denver FASTracks P3; and utilized tax increments and development rights to fund New York’s $2.4 billion No 7 Line. In key leadership roles, we have worked hand-in-hand with agencies throughout California, the United States and the world, to deliver over $150 billion in rail and transit infrastructure.
