This Snack & Learn Webinar is for planners, engineers, project managers and architects. Electric Vehicles (EV) sales are growing rapidly, and are now moving beyond the early adopter phase and onto early mass market adoption. A transition to EVs is key to decarbonising transport, however a lack of public charging infrastructure is regularly cited as a key concern amongst would be adopters, particularly those without access to off-street parking, fleet operators and taxis.
Join us and learn about how the electric vehicle ecosystem is evolving. WSP has extensive experience globally in supporting across the full spectrum of EV charging infrastructure. This session focuses on WSP’s work in transport planning and advisory in the UK, and will highlight a range of key considerations in response to common questions: What does the future public recharging ecosystem look like, how many and what types of charger are required and where, will the private sector deliver, and what is the role for the public sector? During the webinar WSP presents a selection of case studies and examples of EV strategy development, uptake forecasting and infrastructure planning considerations. As well as a project for World Bank advising on E-mobility in Colombia, which involved colleagues from WSP Canada and Colombia, as well as the UK.
