In his new position, Mr. Edwards will focus on materials engineering in the design, engineering, construction and lifecycle assessments of complex bridges and other structures.
Mr. Edwards has over 30 years of professional experience in quality assurance/ quality control, construction technology, concrete technology, durability, forensics and materials on major infrastructure projects around the globe. His expertise includes prevention and assessment of concrete deterioration from various aggressive conditions. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was owner of an international concrete construction consulting services firm based in Australia.
Mr. Edwards earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Western Australian Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute.
